Product Introduction
Power-frequency withstand voltage test sets—along with capacitive equipment such as transformers, GIS systems, SF6 switches, CT/PTs, insulators, busbars, cables, and bushings—constitute the most common primary electrical equipment found in substations. In accordance with the withstand voltage testing protocols for primary electrical equipment in 220 kV and lower substations, the corresponding AC/DC withstand voltage test equipment must satisfy test conditions involving both high voltage/low current and low voltage/high current, thereby requiring a broad scope of applicability. Utilizing the principle of series resonance, the core system is comprised of a variable-frequency power supply control unit (operator console), an excitation transformer, reactors, and a capacitive voltage divider. By connecting a rectifier stack and a microammeter to the capacitive voltage divider, DC withstand voltage testing can also be performed. Furthermore, due to the excellent filtering characteristics exhibited by the system once resonance is achieved, the resulting DC voltage output is superior in quality to the rectified DC voltage produced by standard test transformers. This equipment serves as an ideal withstand voltage testing solution for High-Voltage Testing departments at the regional, municipal, and county levels, as well as for power installation, maintenance, and testing engineering entities.

Product Features
1. Significantly reduced power supply requirements: The power input needed for testing is only 1/Q of the test capacity.
2. Compact and lightweight design: The power-frequency withstand voltage test device is typically only one-third to one-fifth the size and weight of conventional testing equipment.
3. High-quality output waveform: The resonant power supply utilizes a resonant filtering circuit to minimize output voltage waveform distortion, producing an excellent sinusoidal waveform that effectively prevents premature breakdown of the test specimen caused by harmonic peaks.
4. Robust protection and stability: The AC withstand voltage series resonance test system for cables features comprehensive power protection functions and excellent stability. It offers multiple operating modes for convenient operation and utilizes a single-phase 220V or 380V power supply, facilitating easy power access in the field.
5. Flexible configuration and strong expandability: The resonant reactors are designed as modular units that can be combined in a "building-block" fashion—configured in either series or parallel arrangements—to meet the diverse testing requirements of various specimens, thereby enhancing convenience for field applications.
